We're Living in Ecuador Now Too!

by Geoffrey
(Ibarra, Ecuador)

We now live in Ibarra. The climate is agreeable and my back pain has lessened somewhat. The area is centered in many parks. The lifestyle is what I expected after working forty years.

But, the "American Dream" I believed in can be achieved only outside the USA. The reasons are simple; The international bankers, globalization, export of American manufacturing and the so-called New World Order.

I served my country faithfully - war veteran etc., so I earned a good retirement. Now, they want us to work to seventy and then expire.
It was a lucky break that a surgeon ruined my vertebrae. Now, on disability - we live well in Ecuador.

Tax freedom day is like Jan. 5th. It doesn't get any better.

The country has really turned around. I have been coming here for two decades on vacation and there is no comparison to the Ecuador of past years. The President here is a model for all the world's presidents.

Even the VP is making a difference. As soon as you can, get out of the rat race!

Stan's response: Welcome to full-time living in Ecuador Geoffrey! I love it here too. Ibarra is a great town. I wish you all the best as you get properly settled in.
